Wire EDM is machining process that is based on using a copper or brass wire to cut any contour of a conductive part. IAM has 6 wire EDM cutting machines.
Die sinking EDM is the manufacture of a part by using a copper or graphite electrode with the final design shape. The electrode penetrates the raw material, which must be conductive, until the final shape is obtained. IAM has two die-sinking EDM machines.
Drilling EDM consists of making tiny holes (between 0.3 and 3 mm diameter) and very deep (30/1 length / diameter ratio) using concentric rotating electrodes. IAM has 1 drilling EDM machine.
