Waterjet cutting is a mechanical process in which, by means of the impact of water at high pressure, all types of material are cut to the desired geometry. IAM CUT has 6 conventional waterjet cutting machines.
Waterjet cutting
Advantages of the process
01
Cold cutting where properties remain unchanged.
02
Capable of cutting any material in thicknesses up to 200 mm.
03
Capable to produce very complex geometric shapes.
04
Does not create stresses in the finished part.
05
In several cases, the part extracted from the cut does not require any type of finishing.
06
Environmentally friendly process, as it does not emit gases or dust into the air.
